Club Prize Presentation
Posted on 08/10/15 02:58PM

If you don't yet know the Club Prize Presentation dinner will be in the evening of Friday 29th Jan at the Grampian in Corby.  Other halves are particularly welcome for this event; guaranteed to be even posher this year as Rachel is organising it!

If you have a trophy at home from last year, please return it to the club now so that they can all be accounted for.

If you have someone to nominate for the Merit Prize, please email Norman with their name and reason.  This can be anyone associated with the club in any way who have done something to assist with the way the club is run, enjoyed by us or perceived by others.

Hill Climb Sunday for Mike
Posted on 08/10/15 01:27PM

One of our members, Mike Sirett, has got into two of the big hill climbs this coming Sunday. The Catford and Bec CC Hill climbs which have fields of over 120 riders in each. Mike says:

'They both look a bit tasty, but I’m starting with a few other vets so shouldn’t show myself up too much hopefully. Quite a few do the Catford in the morning then the Bec in the afternoon so I guess we’ll all be a bit knackered on the second one. The Catford is the oldest bike race still going, so had to have a punt. There a few biggish names in both events so it will be interesting to see the top guys. David Millar did the Bec last year.'

We wish him the best of luck and hope to be able to report on how his day went next week.

Inter-Club Hill Climb Results
Posted on 06/09/15 03:35PM
