Clubhouse catering very popular - a team effort by Rachel de la Rue and Robert Woodford; apologies from the Webmaster for omitting Rachel from the original report.

Sunday's club ride which returned to the Clubhouse for bacon and sausage rolls and more, organised and prepared by Rachel de la Rue (our super keen club rider and club time trial rider) and Robert Woodford (our Master's Time Trial specialist), was not only well supported and enjoyed, but also made some useful cash towards the club's funds. ( Not every club can own and maintain such a fabulous facility as our Clubhouse provides.)  Apparently 4 riders from Rutland Velo couldn't resist the advertised fare and arrived early, keeping Robert busy.  The Rockingham club riders starting out from the Clubhouse at 10am stayed together in one group for once and also returned well before 12 pm; to be sure of getting their, share no doubt. Some lessons were learnt, but the 'event' was declared a definite success, and Robert and Rachel are planning the next one for Sunday 19th February.
